Move More Movement

Healing your mind, body, and core with reflective strides and stories

Why WunderWalk?

As one of the most functional and basic forms of exercise, walking benefits your heart, body, and mind in numerous ways that go beyond simple movement. Sometimes, it might feel like you need that extra spark of motivation to take the first step, especially after a long day. That’s why I created a WunderWalk journey! Follow this supportive and encouraging community to find the joy in striding for miles, one step at a time! By joining us, you’ll not only boost your physical health by improving cardiovascular fitness, but you’ll also enhance your mental well-being through the camaraderie and shared experiences with fellow walkers. Together, we can explore new paths, set achievable goals, and celebrate the victories, big and small, as we embark on this rewarding journey towards a healthier lifestyle.

This blog began during a time when life took a bit of a wobble. Unsure of where to turn, I found myself stepping outside and walking. Out in nature, the rhythm of my steps began to quiet my mind, long enough for my body to offer up the answers I didn’t know I was seeking.

What started as a simple way to cope soon became something more. These daily intentional walks—my WunderWalks—grew into the highlight of my day. They grounded me, opened up space for reflection, and reminded me of the wonder in the everyday.

Now, I’m sharing this journey with you in hopes of building a community of intentional walkers—people who find meaning, joy, and connection through putting one foot in front of the other. Whether you’re walking through city streets or forest trails, you’re invited to WunderWalk with me.
